Covenant Christian Academy has not had much luck with Mount Calvary Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Mount Calvary Christian found their leader in underclassman Kylie Masters, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Masters scored 15 or more points. Kathleen Smucker was another key contributor, scoring two points along with ten rebounds.
Covenant Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mount Calvary Christian, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on High Point Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they will be playing at home against West Shore Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
