That gave St. Croix Prep just enough oomph to take the game with a final score of 34 - 27.
As for Highland Park, it entered its match with back-to-back losses and, unfortunately, tacked on another. Last week it came up short against Providence Academy, falling 21 - 13.
We'll see if St. Croix Prep can add another positive mark to its record or if Highland Park can shake its defeat and take the spring out of St. Croix Prep's step.
