Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Claxton). Everything went their way against the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers on Tuesday as the Claxton Tigers made off with an 11-1 win. Joshua Juarez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Claxton pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for McIntosh County Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Claxton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Swainsboro on the 7th. As for McIntosh County Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Portal on the 6th.
