The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers will take on the Forest Hills Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Monday, Hollidaysburg made easy work of Philipsburg-Osceola and carried off a 64-42 win. Given Hollidaysburg's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Philipsburg-Osceola is ranked 624th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the matchup if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Forest Hills' strategy against Bedford on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Forest Hills blew Bedford out of the water with a 59-15 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-11.
It was another big night for Alexis Henderson, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aivah Maul, who scored nine points.
Hollidaysburg's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Forest Hills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.
