Notus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derrick Huter, who scored ten points along with six assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Huter has scored all season. Benny Guevara was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Centennial Baptist bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.7 points per game. As for Notus, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Centennial Baptist will head out on the road to take on Wilder on Friday. Wilder is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Notus, they will be playing at home against Riverstone International at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Riverstone International is ranked 74th, while Notus is ranked 71st).
