Video: Robert Nkemdiche High School HighlightsWherever
Robert Nkemdiche is selected in the 2016 NFL Draft, he will forever be labeled a Georgia high school sports legend.
Nkemdiche made football a priority despite playing three sports. He knew 6-foot-5, 295 pound defensive linemen who could also run a 4.56-second 40-yard dash were few and far between.
A 2012 graduate of
Grayson (Loganville, Ga.), Nkemdiche and the undefeated Rams hoisted the GHSA 6A state title trophy his junior season, but fell short of a repeat his senior year after losing in a second-round upset. Failing to capture consecutive state titles did not stop Nkemdiche from registering 25 sacks and rushing for 27 touchdowns that season.
To say Nkemdiche was highly recruited would be an understatement.
Having been offered scholarships from SEC powerhouses like Alabama, Clemson, and many others, Nkemdiche eventually decided to join his older brother, Denzel, as a Runnin' Rebel at Ole Miss. He was considered the consensus No. 1 overall recruit before committing to Ole Miss.

The latest CBS Sports mock draft boards have three of five experts predicting Nkemdiche will go in the first round. One expert has him being taken as high as 19th overall by the Bills, while two others say the reigning Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos will select him with the 32nd pick.
