Weekend slate headlined by No. 2 Boone Central taking on No. 4 Aurora.

This week's Nebraska high school football schedule is headlined by No. 4 Aurora traveling to No. 2 Boone Central (Albion). The game features teams that opened the season last weekend with comfortable wins. Aurora beat Northwest (Grand Island) 50-30 while Boone Central shut out Broken Bow 48-0.

Three other contests featuring ranked teams going head-to-head are on this week's slate.

Coming off a big win over Pierce, No. 5 Wahoo travels to No. 7 Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland), who opened the season with a 28-3 triumph over then Lakeview (Columbus).

The other two feature No. 12 Ord traveling to Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk) and No. 8 Elkhorn South (Omaha) taking on No. 23 Millard South (Omaha).
