Penn Treaty has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Academy at Palumbo Griffin at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Penn Treaty will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 594th, while Academy at Palumbo is ranked 59th).
Penn Treaty's 15-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 41-32 to Abraham Lincoln on Wednesday.
Penn Treaty's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Aliyah Rogers, who scored 18 points, and Destiny Speach who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Speach has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Academy at Palumbo was able to grind out a solid win over Philadelphia Academy Charter on Monday, taking the game 44-33.
Penn Treaty's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Academy at Palumbo, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
