Baseball Recap: Jesuit's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Jesuit unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Davis Sr. Blue Devils by a score of 5-4. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Jesuit saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Javier Ramirez, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Davis Sr., their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1.

While Jesuit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
