The Silverado Hawks stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Granite Hills at home to the tune of 81-25. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 53-13.
Elizabeth Udeze was her usual excellent self, scoring 33 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Silverado's points. Another player making a difference was Belinda Rincon, who scored 14 points.
Silverado pushed their record up to 15-6 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Granite Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
Coincidentally, Silverado and Granite Hills will both be playing Adelanto the next time they take the court. Granite Hills will host Adelanto at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Silverado will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
