The losing side was boosted by   Miracle Hershey, who  went 7-for-13  to rack up 17  points and four  steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alayna Zimmerman, who  posted four points and eight  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, New Covenant Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in six consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Dayspring Christian Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Veritas Academy by a score of  51-41.
 New Covenant Christian will need to focus on slowing down  Arissa Devens, one of several Dayspring Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. She  put up 12  points.  Emily Gordon was another key player,  putting up nine points.
 Dayspring Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for New Covenant Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-3.
 New Covenant Christian was able to grind out a solid  win over Dayspring Christian Academy when the teams last played  back in January, winning  51-41.
