The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They breezed by San Jose at home  to the tune of  64-23. Mt. Pleasant has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five  contests by 22  points or more this season.
 It was another big night for  Snowe DeLeon, who  scored 27 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Mt. Pleasant's points. Another player making a difference was  Destinee Townes, who  scored 14 points.
 The  victory (which was Mt. Pleasant's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for San Jose, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will  face off against Harbor at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for San Jose, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Gunderson at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
