At the plate, Siegfried went 3-for-6 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Jenkins got on base in all six of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. What's more, Jenkins posted three hits, the most he's had since back in March.

In other batting news, Luke Hightower was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Austin Kelly was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Edgewood fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Shakamak on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 4-3.
Anthony Shields made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Rowan Heitink, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Indianapolis Kings' record is now 11-5. As for Edgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Indianapolis Kings has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Edgewood struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.6 hits.
