A big part of Harrison's win came down to the chemistry between Aiden Watson and his top target Dj Huggins. Watson threw for 223 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 91.7% of his passes while Huggins picked up 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Watson a new career-high in passer rating (170.1). Parker Perkins also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Hillgrove faced McEachern in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Indians, falling 35-14. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Harrison will have to contain Donovan Mack as he made an impact in Hillgrove's last game. He rushed for 50 yards and one score.
