The Orcutt Academy Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy  77-61 victory over Righetti. With that  victory, Orcutt Academy brought their scoring average up to 51  points per game.
 Orcutt Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Elizabeth Johnson, who  dropped  a double-double on 25 points and 25  rebounds. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as she's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashley Barrientos, who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and ten  assists.
 The  win  got Orcutt Academy back to even at 12-12. As for Righetti, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 14-11.
 Orcutt Academy will head out on the road to  take on  Nipomo at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Orcutt Academy is facing Nipomo at the right time seeing as Nipomo is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Righetti, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arroyo Grande at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. Arroyo Grande presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Righetti in California (Arroyo Grande is ranked 104th, while Righetti is ranked 237th).
