The Great Oak Wolfpack will take on the Etiwanda Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Great Oak is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs last Saturday, they were much more limited against Los Osos on Saturday. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 3-2.
Great Oak got a good showing from Devin Cuellar, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Great Oak saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Pink, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Pink is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Etiwanda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Sierra Canyon.
Etiwanda handed starting duties to Michael Aleman, who gave a strong showing despite the result: he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits Aleman has allowed since back in April of 2025.
On the hitting side, Angel Mejia was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. Luke Severns was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Etiwanda's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Great Oak, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Great Oak skirted past Etiwanda 4-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2019. Do the Wolfpack have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
