Edmund Burke Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bulloch Academy on Monday. The Spartans never let the Gators get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Spartans have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Edmund Burke Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bulloch Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edmund Burke Academy will take on Thomas Jefferson Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bulloch Academy, they will square off against David Emanuel Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
