The Pacifica Tritons will square off against the San Marcos Royals at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Pacifica has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Pacifica took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Ventura 14-12.

Riley Ortega was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Dario Navarro was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Pacifica hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
San Marcos came out on top against Oxnard on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Royals walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Yellowjackets.
Mason Crang made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Quinn Melton, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Pacifica now has a winning record of 10-9. As for San Marcos, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
Pacifica skirted past San Marcos 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Do the Tritons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Royals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
