Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Holton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Korban Wilson, who rushed for 157 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Those 157 rushing yards gave Wilson a new career-high. Andrew Shupe was another key rusher, rushing for 124 yards and one TD on only 14 carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Holton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 508 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 176 rushing yards in eight consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Jefferson West's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Holton, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.
Friday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Holton has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 426 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Jefferson West, though, as they've been averaging only 97.5 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
