With a playoff win on the line, Dos Pueblos rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-4  win over the Valencia Vikings. Five seems to be a good number for the Chargers as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 Dos Pueblos' win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Charlie Potter, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. Another  was  Evan Bean, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  stolen base and one  run.
The  victory made it two in a row for Dos Pueblos and  bumps their season record up to 20-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Valencia,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 14-14 record.
 Dos Pueblos has already played their next matchup,  an  11-1  win against Trinity Classical Academy on the 23rd. Valencia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
