If Groton School was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Brooks on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Groton School fell just short of the St. Mark's Lions by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Connor Wig made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Groton School has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for St. Mark's, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

As of now, neither Groton School nor St. Mark's have any future games scheduled.
