The Westlake Charter Explorers  will head out on the road to  face off against  the Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy Lions at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Westlake Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 6.3  goals per game this season.
 Last Friday, Westlake Charter faced Futures in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Westlake Charter never let Futures onto the board and left with  a   6-0  win. Considering Westlake Charter has won five matchups by more than two  goals this season,  Friday's blowout was nothing new.
 They hit Futures with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Phoebe Ossola (3), 
 Marli Johnson (2),  and 
 Colleen Johnson.
 Meanwhile, Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy fell victim to Westlake Charter and their airtight defense  last Friday. They suffered a  tough 8-0 defeat at the hands of the Explorers. Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Westlake Charter pushed their record up to 6-1 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 38  goals over those six  contests. As for Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Westlake Charter took their  win against Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy  in their previous matchup  last Friday by a conclusive  8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westlake Charter since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
