The Turlock Bulldogs won against the Modesto Panthers last Thursday with 44 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Turlock put the hurt on Modesto with a sharp 44-21 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Turlock has posted since December 16, 2023.
Turlock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Walker, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 steals. Lexie Franco was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight steals.
Turlock is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-14 record this season. As for Modesto, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Turlock will take on Enochs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Enochs is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Modesto, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Pitman at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Pitman presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Modesto in California (Pitman is ranked 635th, while Modesto is ranked 1308th).
