In what's become a running theme this season, the San Bernardino Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Pacific with a sharp 51-27 victory. The win was familiar territory for San Bernardino who now have three in a row.
San Bernardino found their leader in underclassman Rihanna Scott, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 23 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Scarlett Jacques, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
San Bernardino's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Pacific, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
San Bernardino will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Indian Springs at 6:15 p.m. Indian Springs' defense has only allowed 25.5 points per game this season, so San Bernardino's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pacific, they will head out on the road to square off against Rubidoux at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Rubidoux comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last ten games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
