The Seymour Thunder will square off against the De Pere Redbirds at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
De Pere will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Seymour extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Thunder blew past Campbellsport 15-2. Considering the Thunder have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Cayden Staffeldt, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Beilfuss, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Seymour kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times De Pere and Notre Dame Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Redbirds walked away with a 10-6 win over the Tritons on Tuesday. The Redbirds haven't had any issues with the Tritons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
De Pere let Colton Setzer and Will Nikolay run wild. Setzer got on base in two of his three plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs, while Nikolay went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Isaac Herlache, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Seymour's win bumped their record up to 17-7-1. As for De Pere, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.
Seymour couldn't quite finish off De Pere in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 and fell 5-3. Will the Thunder have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
