The Mountain House Mustangs lost against the Dublin Gaels back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mountain House took a 60-43 bruising from Dublin. Mountain House has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mountain House's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ela Estrella, who scored 7 points. Estrella has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Jariah Indalecio was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Mountain House's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Dublin, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain House will face off against Manteca at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Manteca will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Dublin, they will head out on the road to face off against Clayton Valley Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clayton Valley Charter is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.5 points per game.
