Eaton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by  an  8-2 margin over the Brush Beetdiggers on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Reds, who have now won 21 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Johanna Galvan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Emma Anderson was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games she's  played.  Paige Hofer was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Eaton has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Brush,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 20-7 record.
 Eaton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  5-4  defeat against University on the 25th. Brush does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
