Burney lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Autumn Johnson, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Alexis Witzel, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Burney's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.7 points per game. As for Chester, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8.
Burney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chester, they will be playing at home against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
