Kaleb Fox Turns in Season-Best Effort
Marshfield was led to victory by Kaleb Fox, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Fox rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

A Season-Best Performance from Hadyn Widdicombe Leads Marshfield over Ashland
Hadyn Widdicombe produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Marshfield to the win on Friday. Widdicombe picked up 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 72 yards.
On the season, Widdicombe has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 48 receiving yards per game.

Marshfield's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Lucas Folau
Lucas Folau helped snap Marshfield's six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Folau turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making seven total tackles. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Ashland's probably not too fond of Folau given he always seems to get the better of them. When Folau last faced the Grizzlies back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made five total tackles.

The second Mazama player making an appearance here is Brody Van Gastel, and for good reason. He rushed for 62 yards, and also threw for 62 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
This season, Van Gastel has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 80.5 passing yards per game.
