It was a good run, but Ripon unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 41-33 to the Pacheco Panthers.

Pacheco's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mary Tava, who posted 12 points along with six blocks and five boards. Tava is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played. Nikki Nance was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Pacheco, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Ripon will head out to challenge Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Pacheco, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pacheco Panthers challenge the Los Banos Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
