The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors will take on the Nuview Bridge Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Nuview Bridge will be up against a hot Desert Christian Academy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Desert Christian Academy put the hurt on California Military Institute with a sharp 21-1 victory on Friday. With that win, the Conquerors brought their scoring average up to 7.7 runs per game.

Christian Adamson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Desert Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Jesse Snellenberger, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Snellenberger a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Westin Abarrate, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
Desert Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as California Military Institute only posted an OBP of .222.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nuview Bridge). Everything went their way against Hamilton on Monday as Nuview Bridge made off with a 16-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won eight in a row.
Ethan Rivera made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rivera was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Nuview Bridge's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-7 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Christian Flores, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-6. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Tobias Olague was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-5.
Nuview Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Desert Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
