 Cecily Potter was  her usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 18  points and 11  boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last five games she's  played.  Arion Martin was another key player,  going 7 of 17  on her way to 14 points and seven  rebounds.
 Willits  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in five consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile,  it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose  60-15, which was the final score in Roseland University Prep's tilt against Sonoma Academy on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Knights  can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 1036th, while the Coyotes are ranked 462nd).
 Willits' victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Roseland University Prep, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season.
 Willits didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Roseland University Prep  in their previous meeting  back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with  a  37-31 win.
