Renaissance Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Saydi Daye and Dallis Stewart. Daye scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds, while Stewart scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was Daye's third in a row with at least ten points.
Norristown's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Renaissance Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
