After a string of four wins, Mariana Bracetti Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 31-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin Learning Center.
Franklin Learning Center was led to victory by Kayla Sterling and Ameira Thomas. Sterling scored eight points, while Thomas scored eight points.
Mariana Bracetti Academy dropped their record down to 5-4 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Franklin Learning Center, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
