In other batting news, Brady Edwards was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Robert Winsor, who scored two runs and stole a base.
Leigh's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9. As for Branham, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-12.
Leigh will take on Santa Cruz at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Branham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
