The Cumberland Valley Eagles posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They skirted past Central Dauphin East 35-32. Cumberland Valley didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
It was another big night for Sienna Manns, who scored 12 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Greta Dwyer, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Cumberland Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Central Dauphin East, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Cumberland Valley will take on Carlisle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Carlisle is ranked 408th, while Cumberland Valley is ranked 415th). As for Central Dauphin East, they will head out on the road to take on Bishop McDevitt at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
