Millikan is a perfect 10-0 against Compton since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Rams will look to defend their home field against the Tarbabes at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Millikan comes in on seven and Compton on four.
Millikan came out on top against Templeton on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run first inning. The Rams put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Millikan got a great performance from AJ Nonato as he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lucas Helig, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Briones, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Millikan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Compton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Port of Los Angeles 1-0.
The result came thanks to Andrew Ruiz's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
Compton's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Millikan, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 13-5.
Compton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Millikan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. It's a different story for Compton, though, as they've only averaged .216. Will they be able to contain Millikan's hitters?
Millikan got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Compton by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tarbabes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
