Softball Recap: John Milledge Academy Wins Going Away Against Central Fellowship Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Milledge Academy). They blew past the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers 13-1 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won three in a row.

Izzy Santarone was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Macie Johnson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

John Milledge Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matches.

John Milledge Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
