The Edison Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Inderkum Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Edison is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Edison has not lost a match since December 21, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They and Bear Creek finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Edison has been dealt a draw since back in December of 2023.
Their goal came courtesy of
Natalie Gomar, who's now up to seven this season.
Meanwhile, Inderkum came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let Yuba City onto the board and left with a 8-0 win. Inderkum might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 13 games by three goals or more this season.
Edison's draw makes their record 12-7-3 on the season. As for Inderkum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 23-1-1 record this season.
Edison suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Inderkum when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Edison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
