The Parkview Panthers will challenge the Oak Mountain Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Parkview was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lassiter on Wednesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 10-4 win. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

At the plate, Parkview saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Woolcock, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. What's more, Woolcock posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. Another was Jack Taylor, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one double.
Oak Mountain not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27, 2025 (when they won 12-1). Everything went their way against American Christian Academy as they made off with a 12-4 win. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Austin Senick looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.
On the hitting side, Oak Mountain let Damon McCleod and Luke Channell run wild. McCleod got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI, while Channell got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Those runs were McCleod's first of the season. Joshua Vincent was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Oak Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
The victory got Parkview back to even at 2-2. As for Oak Mountain, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.
Oak Mountain's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Parkview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330.
