In other batting news, Mt. Carmel got a massive performance out of River Deisher, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Deisher a new career-high. Mt. Carmel kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Vernon only managed six.
