The Live Oak Acorns put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past James Lick 78-7 at home. Fans of Live Oak have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Kathliyah Clement continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 steals. Clement is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Isabelle Cline was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 steals.
Live Oak has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 4-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for James Lick, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Live Oak and Cupertino will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Cupertino comes in still looking for their first win of the season. James Lick is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Willow Glen at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
