Livingston is 10-0 against Chavez since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Livingston Wolves will be playing at home against the Chavez Titans at 8:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Livingston struggled with assists on Friday (Patterson had 11 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Livingston was dealt a 76-33 defeat at the hands of Patterson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Livingston in their matchups with Patterson: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite their defeat, Livingston saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kasandra Soria, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals, was perhaps the best of all. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Soria has scored all season. Adriana Cervantes Molina was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Chavez, who are still winless after their seventh game. They received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 43-28 to Dixon.
Livingston's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chavez, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7.
Livingston didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Chavez when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 45-39 win. Does Livingston have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chavez turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
