That was a full 45.5% of Wilcox-Hildreth's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Cara Bunger was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Elm Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kendal Cavenee out in front who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Bauer, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Wilcox-Hildreth's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Elm Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilcox-Hildreth will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Overton is coming into the game hot, having won their last 15 games. As for Elm Creek, they will head out on the road to take on the at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home, while the Buffaloes have snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
