Princeton's loss came despite strong showings from Ray Altimus and Guadalupe Espinoza. Altimus scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds, while Espinoza scored 5 points. Espinoza scored a full 31.3% of Princeton's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Loyalton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophie Holland, who scored 22 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Catherine Petterson, who scored 11 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals.
Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Loyalton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Princeton will look to defend their home court on Monday against Maxwell at 5:30 p.m. Loyalton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Portola at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Portola is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
