The Piner Prospectors and the Elsie Allen Lobos will face off  at 6:00  p.m.  on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Wednesday, Piner narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Credo  29-26. The  win was just what Piner needed coming off of a  65-37 defeat in their prior  contest.
 Piner's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Mialynn Membrilla, who  scored six points, and   Amie Alvarez , who  scored six points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Alvarez  has scored all season.
 Elsie Allen has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  matchups by 22  points or more this season. They blew past Potter Valley, posting a  52-13 win at home. The  victory was familiar territory for Elsie Allen who now have three in a row.
 Piner's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Elsie Allen, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
