It was a good run, but the Sunny Hills Lancers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by Buena Park 69-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sunny Hills has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Sunny Hills lost, one person who can't be blamed is Erin Choi. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points.
Sunny Hills' defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-9. As for Buena Park, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunny Hills will take on Troy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Buena Park, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ontario Christian at 7:00 p.m. Ontario Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
