Softball Recap: Omaha Central Has No Trouble Against Bryan

While Omaha Central put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Bryan. The Eagles blew past the Bears 10-0. Considering the Eagles have won 13 contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Edie Titus made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in September. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ada Jantzen, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Nichole Palfini was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Omaha Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. They are 13-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Omaha Central's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-13. As for Bryan, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-23.

Omaha Central has already played their next game, a 9-8 defeat against Millard South on the 21st. Bryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
