Cathedral took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over St. Bernard. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Phantoms have posted since February 22nd.
Ethan Luevano made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Luevano was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
