Cherokee Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy on Tuesday as they made off with a 23-13 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won eight in a row.

John Sturniolo was a standout: he scored four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Goodwin, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Cherokee Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cornerstone Prep Academy took on Wheeler on Monday. The Cougars blew past the Wildcats 13-5. The Cougars not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 10th.
Owen Dichiara made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Cornerstone Prep Academy is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-9 otherwise. Dichiara was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Ben Curry was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Coleson Ruplin, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Cherokee Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Cornerstone Prep Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
Cornerstone Prep Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cherokee Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. It's a different story for Cornerstone Prep Academy, though, as they've only averaged .239. Will they be able to contain Cherokee Christian's hitters?
